BURGER HEAD STUDIOS

AKA THE CAULDRON

I don't have an actual space to record music. B.H.S. goes wherever I'm able to set up. The list of places I've worked in ranges from warehouses to the corner of my Dad's basement apartment. I got my start with a Samson USB microphone and Audacity when I was 14 because I assumed the position of band member willing to step up to take on the responsibility of getting us recordings. I never looked back and have since recorded a good amount of music. My first recordings were very noisy/ raw/ lo-fi. The conditions I was working in challenged me to make the most cohesive and exciting pieces of audio possible. With that, I also wanted to make sure that the finished product was an accurate documentation of not only how the band actually sounded but what was played in the room that day. That's still my philosophy. Whether they sound "good" is subjective. Below are all the records I've done. The earliest ones never made it to the internet so the list starts as early as possible.
